Overview

We delivered the virtual production setup for Mémoire d’un proc, filmed within the same studio environment and technical configuration as our previous broadcast workflows, combining a green screen stage, PTZ cameras, and Aximmetry.

Designed for television and digital distribution, the production relied on a fully virtualized approach to create a controlled, flexible, and visually coherent environment. Our role was to build and operate a real-time production pipeline capable of supporting the editorial tone of the program while maintaining the efficiency and reliability required for broadcast.

Challenges & Approach

The challenge of this production was to translate a strong editorial identity into a virtual environment while preserving the fluidity of a television workflow. Working within a green screen setup with PTZ cameras required a precise balance between technical stability, visual coherence, and production agility.

Our approach focused on creating a system where the technology could remain seamless in operation while elevating the on-screen result. Using Aximmetry as the real-time engine, we designed a multicamera workflow that allowed virtual sets, live compositing, and camera operation to work together smoothly. Particular care was given to ensuring that the virtual environment supported the tone of the program in a refined and natural way, without ever overwhelming the content itself.

Rather than using virtual production as a simple technical substitute for physical decor, we approached it as a visual storytelling tool, one capable of bringing clarity, depth, and flexibility to the overall production.

The result

The final result was a fully virtualized studio environment that gave Mémoire d’un proc a distinctive and polished visual identity. The combination of green screen production, PTZ cameras, and Aximmetry enabled an efficient broadcast workflow while delivering a modern, controlled, and immersive on-screen aesthetic.

Beyond the technical setup itself, the project demonstrated how real-time virtual production can serve demanding television formats with both elegance and precision. The result is a cohesive visual universe that reinforces the editorial character of the program while showcasing the creative possibilities of virtual production in broadcast.
